In Brief:

One of those trips were there was a lot of takers, then they dropped out. Still we managed to get four under ground in this little mine. After a short walk through the woods we came across a small fenced area with a cutting into the hillside. After a quick look, it was decided it was a blind end, so we moved over to another fenced area. All looked familiar, and we found are selves in a short gunnis leading down into a stope.

After a short scramble down through the stop to the level below, we set of exploring the workings. Lionel and Finbar went off one way, John and Big Dave setting off in the opposite direction.

After a while are paths crossed again as we carried on exploring the levels. Lionel and Finbar planned to exit the mine via the "Smartie Tube" which lead them up to the fenced area first visited and thought to be blind.

Meanwhile John and Big Dave spent some time taking photos before exiting out through the deep adit which was remarkably dry compared to previous trips.

Once back at surface we again met up with Lionel and Finbar who had just returned from a visit to another adit further up the hill.

We soon changed and found our selves in the local for a debrief and a quick pint.
